Workspace Performance
Ergostyle was requested to provide workspace solutions for Canterbury Development Corporation. The objective of the refurbishment was to provide ergonomic workstations, meeting room furniture, conference facilities and solve
problematic storage issues.
The space was open planned, therefore the workstation set up focused on providing acoustic and privacy solutions, while still allowing the user to communicate with colleagues. |

In this project we first conducted a Predesign Research phase to understand the workload demand, population variation and operational tasks. This identified the Performance Specifications for the design
brief.

The outcome converted an ad hoc collection of screens, input tools and comms devices into an organised sequential display array and control system. The whole worksurface is electric height adjustable giving
true Sit to Stand capability to cater to the range of operators and their postural well being.

FutureProof- multi purpose activity workstation.
Designed specifically for an 11 year old boy, this project meets the current and future needs of a bright young lad.
The main surface is an electric height adjustable table which provides the benefit of quick and easy height adjustment to suit his various chairs (power, manual, commode) plus any chair upgrades as he
grows.

The primary visual tasks are an LCD computer screen and Book Holder/ Painting easel. Both are attached to gaslift adjusting monitor arms for easy movement up & down, left & right,
forward & back. this allows for easy positioning in the ideal location and encourages independence.
