Staff Training
Our 60-minute group presentation is designed to educate your team on the fundamentals of healthy workspace setup. Delivered in plain language with a practical, down-to-earth approach, this session covers how to correctly adjust chairs, desks, monitors, and accessories to support safe and sustainable work habits. Ideal for both new staff and existing teams, the training promotes long-term wellbeing, reduces the risk of injury, and empowers employees to take ownership of their ergonomic environment.

Consultancy
Traditionally, occupational health and safety efforts have focused on high-risk industrial settings—where hazards are visible and injuries are immediate. This has led to a strong emphasis on physical safeguards, PPE, and regulatory compliance.
However, office environments, while appearing low-risk with soft flooring and clean aesthetics, often conceal more subtle yet significant risks. Poor workstation setup, repetitive strain, and long-term postural issues can all contribute to workplace injuries. At Ergostyle, our consultancy services are built to address these hidden risks—through ergonomic assessments, spatial planning, and product-based interventions that align health, safety, and productivity in the modern workplace.

Office Injuries Escalate
The facts are that injuries occurring in the office environment are increasing at an alarming rate and there are many contributing reasons for this. It is our opinion that a significant cause is a lack of participation in safe working practices due to poor understanding of workstation ergonomics.
Training is not a panacea for addressing all risk factors but is a big step in the right direction. When staff are empowered with knowledge and understanding of ergonomics and health and safety, they can be more confident to participate in hazard management and ideas for improvement.

Hazard Management
Many opportunities exist for staff to deviate from safe work practices and expose themselves to the risk of injury. Daily work patterns and repetitive habits are formed from previous experiences and can lay the foundations for a gradual process injury. More often than not the risks are oblivious to the staff member whose attention is on achieving the performance requirements of their job.
Staff can often harbour computer health safety issues such as hand and wrist pain leading to RSI, OOS and carpal tunnel. An important feature of the Workplace Assessment (WA) is that the attention is placed on the staff member and their immediate workstation.
